Questions From My First Month With The
#1. I do not know of an exact cure for the plastic rear window creasing/bubbling problems, but I always used Meguiars Plast-X on the rear window(outside and inside) at least once every two weeks with a microfiber applicator pad and worked the stuff in real good and evenly, let dry, and then remove. Not only did it keep it clean and smooth, it seemed to help out with those problems for me. Also, be careful of raising/lowering your top in the winter months, as the cold weather can wreak havoc on the plastic window( over 50*, you should be fine)...
#2. You want the cable with very little slack in it to the touch. Kind of a fine line here; too tight and the car will idle higher than it should, too loose and the throttle response will be off some/sluggish even... jetboater has described the procedure correctly.
#3. I do not know?
#4. Basically there is little to no h/p gain from any CAI system, just looks and sound 'performance' with these... I had an Injen CAI on mine and loved it for the sound alone
It does relocate the air filter to the lower passenger side front bumper, just in front of the wheel well and some cutting/modification is required for these systems. Also the concern for hydro-lock(water sucking up into your intake/engine through the filter) is present, although you really have to submerge the filter in a puddle to worry about this.
#5. I do not know, but a new link was posted for them in this thread...
