I spent about two months tracking down "deals" on the internet. Talked to a lot of dealerships and individuals. I ended up getting a "stock stook" with floor mats for
about $700 over MSRP. Found it in my home town. Could of done better but would have to of flown somewhere and driven back. Didn't want to mess with that. Time is money! However, in my search I ran across a lot of cars with a lot of extras added on at prices
way above suggested retail. I wouldn't buy
one if I were you. Find a stock one around
MSRP and then add your own goodies. You can shop for the add ons and get them a lot cheaper than from a greedy dealer. That's my

Walk away from the deal.

Find a dealer who will sell to you at MSRP and let you choose what options you want. Mine did.

Call Vacaville Honda. I bought there for MSRP + Options, total 36K, and I heard they are selling all S2000s at MSRP.
707 449-5900
I don't know what their list is like.

Sounds pricey to me, but for us to help, you need to tell if this is the price that includes TT&L and destination charge, etc. If it doesn't include TT&L, run, don't walk from that dealer and deal with one that is trying to boink you.

If that price does include TT&L, then it sounds like your option's prices are rather inflated.

The total price on my car, with just about every option and TT&L, was right at 40k, FYI. I would also have ordered all the options were they not already on the car. I really prefer the look of the spoilers, etc.

HTH!

As Sartre would say, "you're getting ripped" -- see my recent post re a red/black MSRP in North Carolina with only a spoiler(dealer will ship the car); if you want other options, they can be acquired elsewhere for less.
