so i was on you tube looking at videos of swaps and wutever stuff. and i was wondering.

has anybody swaped an lsx(ls1-ls2) series motor into an s2k? why or why not?

I have seen someone with that swap. I believe it was on streetfire.net.

 

Even though the ls2 "only" weighs 450lbs, you would then need another tranny, and I'm sure one would have to reinforce the chassis. The diff would need an upgrade as well. It would make a nice drag racer but I doubt the engine would fit aft of the front axle line, disturbing balance. Just my thoughts.

I don't think it has been done yet. The one video that was posted here was basically proven to be a fake.
