Has been changed slightly for my customers. They will now have arrow stickers on them for easier install and to avoid all confusion. The mechanism inside is now a little more beefier because some of the AEM EMS users get some ignition inside the intake manifold and sometimes generates over 100psi of pressure inside for an instant. These units are good for 50psi of pressure and the slight issue affects almost none.

To install them, you just need to point both the arrows away from the valve cover. Much easier than blowing through them and getting confused. Machining them would have added to the cost and the stickers offer a easy solution and can be removed after installation easily.

The original ones ended up not performing. Same situation with the skunk2 cams. BC is working with me to come up with new cams to release to the market starting from scratch and doing plenty of testing of his own.

I took back all the cams that I had sold and refunded the people their money in full for the cams.

What are the benefits of this mod on a NA vehicle?

 

reduced oil consumption is the biggest on for hundreds of S2000 owners, increased power output due to a better ring seal, better compression due to a better ring seal, no more dip stick popping out if it does, smoother torque curve.

Doing a back to back dyno there was a 2hp gain all across (except up top where it was the same) even though the coolant was a tad bit hotter on the krank vent run on a very low mileage 04 motor.

Alright, I'm assuming this is not CARB equipment and CA smog is a beyotch and a half.

How easy is it to reverse this for inspection? Or is it really an issue - which I assume it is.

 

Uninstallation takes roughly a few minutes and two hoses. A lot of places will pass it regardless.
