Everyone with a factory intake system has to saw it off. You should use a $5 pipe cutter from your local hardware store to take some of it off. It's fast, easy, and not messy (unlike using a saw). Make sure there is enough metal to get a good grip on with the supplied clamps.

yea i had to saw off a few inches with a hack saw. here is the thread i made about installing them with a stock intake.
