The new ones are made to withstand 50psi vs. before when they "only" withstood 30psi. If yours for some odd reason blows out you can send it in for replacement. There is absolutely nothing wrong with the old ones.

So basically, the answer is no there's no exchange program really. It's not a recall or a service bulletin. It's just a minor update that was actually made for the V8 guys.

Your intake/exhaust note will remain the same.

Hey Rashed,

If I wanted to try to reduce the squeaking sound (it seems like it has become more and more pronounced), would lubricating the spark plug seals and coil packs with motor oil possibly solve this problem?

Can I just use motor oil or do I have to use that silicone sealant you used on the seals?

Thanks

The coil packs never make contact with the spark plug tube seals. Nor should you ever have oil on them. Lubricating the seals with most lubricants will only last a small amount of time.

I used sealant inside the factory seal so you fill up the "U" section with sealant. Try to find the stiffest sealant you can get that will withstand 2-300*F.

Just wondering if anyone else has had to cut the metal piping of the intake breather tube?
I got mine on today, but the hose closest to the front of the engine bay, there was no way the krank vent would fit in there. I forced the metal tubing assembly back, but by the time I slipped the krank vent assembly in between it was putting pressure on my intake tube and the rubber hoses were being bent all out of shape. To get things to fit, I had to saw an inch or two off of the metal tubing. Just wondering if anyone else has had this problem, as I haven't heard about it.
They work great once I got them on though
