Default Quick question

For those in the know, with owners manuals, help me out (cause I don't have mine yet.) When I pick up my car today, I don't feel like reading the book first. What is the real break-in? I've read 600 to 650 miles, and keep it under 5000 to 6500 RPM. What does the book say specifically? I'll have a hundred miles to drive before I can sit down and digest MY owner's manual.

It's been a while since I read it, but as I recall, the gist was no VTEC before 600 miles.
BTW, I VTECed mine at about 25 miles and never looked back.
