Love to manipulate the market and hoard things rather than just let people enjoy them.

S2000 are already overpriced for what they are.

People tend to forget that it takes multiple bidders, to get the price to these so called "absurd" levels. BaT doesn't set the price, bidders do. Have been at many furniture and car auctions, where people have gotten caught up in the hype and supposedly overpaid for a said item. Funny how they usually resell the item, at a profit, a few years down the road. Doesn't always happen, but I'll put my money on the "goober" every time.

I do like BaT for the photos- especially the low mileage examples.

If I didn't already own an s2000, I wouldn't be able to get back into the s2000 game. I count myself among the fortunate.

I have my 35K 2006 NFR S2000 at auction at Bring A Trailer and have maintained it at the pedantic level you mentioned. I trusted the experts here and did all those things you mentioned (except O2 sensor extension). Today is the last day of the auction so if you want to see it or bid on it you better hurry because it closes at 6:26 PM tonight. It's not cheap, but it's a beautiful car in perfect stock mechanical condition.
