Racking up the miles!
Garage queen here but not saving it, I just enjoy it more driving with the top down and the temperature is 60-80. Bought as a retirement gift to myself, posted last in Jan 14 stating it had 9300 miles, it must have been 8300 instead. Has 8800 miles on it now. Totally stock, may sell it in a year or so, still enjoy shifting gears.
It feels great! Bought at 90k so it was never going to be a garage queen. Why save it for the next guy? I've put on over 10k miles in a year, and only about half of those are commuting miles - the rest are from fun back road drives.
I only drive my car in nice weather over the spring, summer and sometimes the fall.
I got this as my "toy" and I have zero shame in having a low mile car.
One day the miles will be high but not today.

Mine is my daily as I would rather drive a car I enjoy each trip rather than leave it at home and drive something dull.
Look at it the other way, all those days where your in your boring daily driver. How many times have you thought you wished you were in your S2k
My 2004 I did 23k in 15 months. My current 2008 my mileage has dropped a bit and I've only done 3k in 3 months so far but I'm going for a drive today as I fancy it.
Why are you trying to keep the miles low? What's you ultimate goal from owning it?

My -00 had 40k when I bought it over ten years ago. Now its at 55k or something i think.
Short summers and a couple of them were ruined by animal collision and a differential failure which didnt help me racking up miles.
I wouldnt really feel bad about racking them up but my S is purely a toy and it sees most usage on weekends to, from and at track meets.

I don't daily drive my s2000 to work anymore, but I find myself taking a long highway cruse every two weeks, taking the car for a night out, or going to a friend's house. I wonder what it is like to own a low milage s2000 and curious if it is any better then my own. I'm the opposite of kevinS2000, I love cruising on the highway!!
On the other hand, IF my daily driver was a POS, then maybe I'd miss the S2K no matter the driving conditions.
