The main reason I keep it open when driving is because of the clock. I always close it when I park.

 

mine is only open when a cd is coming/going. closed looks way cleaner. and +1 for the knee thing. that really iritates me.

 

Why do you guys have to see the volume? Can't you hear it??

 

always closed as well for the whole knee thing. that and i like how everyone who ever looks in always asks were the radio is then thinking it doesnt have one. As to the volume thing, once i get my setup in there, i will have it down to see were it is at as well, until i get used to being able to tell were it is at when its up.

 

Closed! Always closed, even when the radio is on. My radio doesn't display the volume anyway, so that issue is moot

 

I don't know to tell you the truth... just gives more of a sense of reference I guess... lol.
