Default Radio Error code

I bought my dream car
In the users manual included there are a series of codes wich I thought would unlock the radio, yet it just generates more of the same "code error"

I bought this used from someone and didnt even think about the radio (in all my enthusiasms)

Where is it I call to give this code to get my "unlock code"

too bad there isnr a "master reset"

any leads appreciated

When I bought my car (used ) I had the same problem. Through using the search function I found some solutions. I took the stereo out. On the stereo there is a sticker with a set of numbers on it. Take these numbers to your nearest Honda dealership (service dept.) and they can look up the radio code for you. You might also want to look in a couple of other places for the actual code. The previous owner might have placed it somewhere. Check under the felt in the secret compartment. Under the secret compartment door. Under the cover for the tool tray. Hope this helps! Oh yeah... Here's a link to Lucid Automotives "How to" take out the head unit.

Maybe they wrote the code backwards as to "fool" thieves? I don't know. If you bought the car used from a dealer, contact them and let them do the footwork. If you bought if from a private seller, call them back and find out what the deal is.

Its actually a reconditioned S2000

I tried it backwards as well

The number I posted isn't a radio serial number is it?
same numeralsas what the pass code would be correct?

Or would this be the number i would need to give "someone some where"
who can give me the one that works...

I know the security code is a 4 digit number. That may be it or it may be for another S radio. I would contact Honda and let them know. You need the security code to get the radio to play, kinda a security device.

The radio code is a 5 digit number. You will need the serial number of the radio and VIN of the car when you call your Honda dealer, or for that matter, any Honda dealer should be able to give it to you.

There is supposedly a series of button pushes that will get you the radio code, I found an old thread that said to press the #1 and #6 presets twice and it will yield your radio code number in two parts.

I don't know if this will work, I just found this in an old thread once...
