We interrupt this program to bring you a live report from Myrtle Beach, South Carolina:

Greetings everyone from the sunny, hot and humid southeast. High expected to be 92 today. Please ignore weather.com and the Weather Channel when they say "isolated T-storms" for Myrtle Beach from now until the end of time. They do this to cover their collective incompetent butts. Of course there is always a chance of late afternoon convective thunderstorms. This is the one place where I definitely ignore the forecast of the Weather Channel and weather.com. Tune in to your on-site beat reporter for true, accurate reports. I did see however, that it has rained 39.5 inches here so far this year. A full 10 inches above normal. That is alot of rain! I heard from my secretary that there are dark skies and storms in C-Town. Supposed to only be 71 until Thursday. Unbelievable for mid-July.

This is OhioRacer reporting live for the rain thread from Myrtle Beach South Carolina. Back to you in the studio...

And this, just in from Kyras (that's Ki-Riss) on the outskirts of the Great Mojave Desert in the South West...

the humidity of the weekend lessened today, giving some relief but the temperature was back up to 101 degrees. More, over 100 degree temperatures are expected for the week, with a slight chance of thunderstorms. To date we have 6.99 inches of precipitation. Back to you New Jersey.

Thank you Kyras. Here in New Jersey we have thunderstorms accompanied by heavy rains and possible flooding. Homes in New York State were damaged overnight due to the storm and many people lost power.

It is now Tuesday morning, 11/22/03, 6:40 A.M. 60* F, Thunderstorms with heavy rains.

Just came back from a 4 day trip to NYC - saw some fantastic shows, ate at great restaurants & in general just enjoyed the city.

Very humid today, t-storms later. Drove my beater in today because of the t-storms but of course the sun came out instead. So far through my efforts the sun is still out with no rain.

If I drive the Honda in later I know its going to rain.

It's a great town Rob. Always end up not wanting to leave! Getting together sounds like fun, I'll let you know when my next trip is.

I'm all set for Fall Colors, have my reservation & everything. Now comes the hardest part - waiting until October!
