Wed am - 68 headed for 86. More sun today w/chance of t-storms in the pm. Those tequila shots are lethal. One of my fave drinks is the kamikaze - a very appropriate name! LOL

Wednesday 7:45AM, cloudy, 70*F going up another 8-10 deg with rain forecast. Drove to work top-down this morning, not sure if I'll be able to do any lunchtime stress relief or a top-down drive home this afternoon.

Speaking of stress relief, there's a semi-rural road nearby the office that has some nice twisty bits with elevation changes. I've taken to running about 5 miles of this out and back over lunch just to forget about work.

Deb,

Talk about lethal.

Back in the late 80s I was in San Diego with a number of co-workers (something like 10 or so of us) for technical/sales training on a new product line we had just taken on. We had all flown in from a number of regional offices that day.

We went for dinner to a Mexican restaurant in one of the historic sections, about a 5 minute walk from the hotel. There was about an hour wait for a table so we all went up onto the outside balcony and started in with the tequila. By the time we got a table we all were pretty looped, and at the table (luckily outside) we continued. Food was great, but by the time we were done the tabletop was swimming with tequila. We tried to order another round but they told us we had drunk them dry of tequila.

I stumbled back to the hotel, didn't know if/how any of the others made it back. We all were totally wasted the next morning (first day of training with a new vendor!!!) and two people never showed up that day.

Never again...

Yes! I've been out of bed for... like 2 hours! Please, give me a little credit!

Actually, I've been busy today. Had a meeting up in Los Angeles - went well (thank you), and have been setting up some other meetings for the next couple of weeks.

Busy, Busy, Busy!
