Rain again, again.
*sigh...*
I drove home from work top down, temp was 80-something with heavy haze and so much moisture in the air you could almost see it. I got home around 5, left the car on the drive planning to go out again later (top up, of course). It has just now stopped raining, which it has for hte last hour or so; actually rain does not properly describe the torrential monsoon that occurred. There was so much water falling from the heavens that we couldn't see across the street. The lawn maintenance crew doing the yard next door had to dive for cover, leaving their industrial-strength riding mowers running near the street.
Thank goodness I closed up the car!!! At least it's clean again from the drive this morning...
Thursday evening at 7:45PM, 80*F, cloudy, drizzly, foggy and generally crappy. If you like to live in a rain forest you'll love it here in the Windy City today.

I'm back. Little by little the power is coming back. We lost power for an instant, but were ok for the most part. Most of the area is still in the dark.
Quik
I'm real sorry to hear about your windshield. Someone did that to my 4Runner when it was 3 weeks old. Some guy in a Camaro decided to run on the shoulder of I-287. My windshield caught one of the rocks. I had one of those mobile glass repair companies fill it and it has been ok for the last 5 years. The kicker is that my insurance company was willing to pay for the repair, but wouldn't have paid if I had to replace the windshield.
Tom
Sounds like you got the kind of rain that we got all last week. Its a pain, isn't it?
Meeting other S2000 owners is really a lot of fun. I met quite a few at the New Hope meet earlier this year and some solid friendships were formed. I'm looking forward to meeting Ohio and MsPerky at Fall Colors. I met Leon (Lajster) at the New Hope meet and we are going to get together at Fall Colors. I wish the rest of you could come. I'd love to meet all of my friends face to face.
There is a proposal for a new forum. It is to be called "Vintage S2000 owners". Its point of view is that of owners 40 and over, but it is open to everyone. I hope some of you younger members participate because the sharing of ideas makes everyone grow. Deb (MsPerky) and I are going to be the moderators. It should be fun.
Hey 4, Quik you know that Fall Colors is only a 5 hour plane ride from where you are, don't you? And, the east coast is beautiful in the fall.

If you can pull yourself away from the shuffle board long enough, and if you don't waste too much time cashing your Social Security checks, of course we'd love to hear from you.
