Not to worry. His time is near. We have overcome worse enemys and we will defeat Osama and all of the madmen who confuse terror for freedom.

Sounds like an opportunity for you to put that enthusiasm to work by becoming the Chicago area Community Organizer. Seriously, it's a lot of fun. The best part is meeting new people.
Tom

You should go for it. I'm having a lot of fun as "Forum Moderator" in Vintage. Go for it.

80*F at 8:30 PM... Nice night! My day has been made by the first "real" pics of the 2004s hitting the airwaves. I know I'll have visions of (Sebring silver) sugarplums dancing in my head as I sleep tonight. Well, time to read from "The Lord of the Rings" to the 6 y.o. See ya tomorrow!

Getting cold at night here, it's that time of year again! Low of 47 tonight with a high of 72 tomorrow and partly cloudy. The leaves are just starting to turn now with mostly reds and some oranges.

Hmmm, I'll have to think about that one, it's something I'd never considered doing. If I were to do it I'd want to be able to give it my best effort, so I'll have to make sure work and family will leave enough time.

Great idea Ohio (and Rob & Mark) I'll give it serious thought!!!

Eventually, in addition to hats, I'd have sunblock, lemonade, radios, beach chairs & umbrellas. My push cart would have a sever and laptop running XP with a web-based e-commerce site, and Oracle inventory control system featuring just-in-time replenishment features, and...AHAHAHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
Thats the problem. I could have gone to the beach too. I made the thieves buy me out (or go to jail) and I had built an awful lot of equity into the business. Still, like you, what the hell would I do at the beach. I'd want to own the beach and sell admissions. That's why I went back to school. If I couldn't work I'd go crazy.

The problem with changing careers is not so much that Accounting is boring, but rather having to start at the bottom again after having your own business. Thats what is so hard to take.

Primmadonnas and whiners? It was the clothing business, we invented those characters. You guys just spoiled them thats all.

Its not that hard. You spend a lot of time on line anyway. Just make sure you have a good co-moderator. I'm lucky to be working with Deb. It makes a big difference.
