Rain again, again.
. Front plate MUST go. If there were ever a car that was built NOT to have a plate, this is the one. I know, I know...it's the law here too. P.S. The color opinions are just IMHO. Everyone should love THEIR color choice. I don't want to start another color war thread.
Richard:
That was my dealer telling me about the insects attracted to yellow. Dunno about the veracity of that.
ralper and OhioRacer:
No color war, I like'em all!!!
Each color gives a different look to the car, my least favorite is blue, but what do I know.
Like I said yellow was my first choice but I thought I'd be happier with the silverstone over time... I plan on keeping this car for many years.
It's twilight here now, clear and warm, gonna take my lovely bride of 29 years and get a DQ and have a nice
; too bad it's in her sedan
and not in an S yet.

Guys:
Frankly, we don't have an ugly color in the whole group. It's a matter of individual taste, and that's all.
But the insect attractant aspect? Go to Home Depot and ask for an outside light bulb that will not attract insects. I'll bet you anything you want that they will sell you a yellow one! By the way, my own S2k is Red! Just my preference, and not meant to criticize anyone else. But yellow, as a color, does not attract insects. If anything, it repells them. I know more about this than what I can learn at Home Depot. I do have a degree (college) in horticulture.
So have fun with your yellow one (or whatever) and don't worry about the bugs!
Thanks,
Richard

Yes, a yellow bulb on your deck or porch will not attract as many flying insects as will a clear one, and it will repell some. Just go to Home Depot and ask.

Thats good to know. I'm going to buy some the next time I'm in Home Depot. Thanks.
By the way, how is the weather in your neck of the woods?
Yellow bulb will help alot on a deck. I had a yellow one at my front door. It burned out I replaced with a regular white bulb. Oh My... attack of the killer insects I would say it cut the bugs by a good 80%. A big difference. You'll still get some bugs but its better than a swarm.
