Yesss, it's the night drives that I live for at this time of year. Since I'm telecommuting today, I may take the S out to get some breakfast before I've got to run in hiding from the heat - it's already 86 degrees.

Ralper - wish I could take the intense heat that way, I do go out for some training on my road bike - but man, it's brutal. Hmmm, would be good to be near Ohio about now, I'm game for some eats . One day I've got to get over there to do a drivers school at Mid-Ohio. Have you ever been there Ohio?

tomcat, vroom, ralper,

You guys are welcome any time for a barbeque. Just got a new full 5 lb. gas tank for the grill so I won't run out (usually reserved for holiday weekends with 12 hungry people looking at raw burgers on the grill. Did you ever try to find a full propane tank during a holiday weekend?) .

I love the heat too (and A/C). Another 89-90 degree day today. Storms tonight though and back into the 70's but it doesn't look like tomorrow will be a washout as originally predicted. Hope you guys get your meet in Saturday. You're usually a day or so behind us on the weather and it's coming. Perhaps it will swing north into Canada where all the bad weather belongs.

P.S. Night drives on hot summer nights...

Thursday afternoon, 06/26/03, 5:45 P.M. Sunny and hot. High humidity. Perfect weather. What a great day to own a roadster.

Friday, 5PM in the Windy City. It's about 73 degrees, low humidity, sunny with high puffy clouds and for once the Windy City is living up to its name.

it's a perfect day to own a roadster... *sigh*

Hey Tom

I know you want the days to pass, but today is still only Thursday. You had me real excited for a moment.

Sounds like nice weather. Hang in there. There will be plenty of nice days to drive your S. Summer is just starting.

Rob / Ohio:

Thanks for the concern about me being gone (or was it the concern for the toaster)? Funny about the alligator thing - I actually saw a few when I was in FL (from my car - not up close ). Did you guys hear about the kid that got eaten in FL by an alligator? Dude was swimming in the swamp, or something, and got eaten. I'm not joking either.

Anywho - got back last night from FL - Continental Airlines decided to send my bag to Louisiana instead of Orange County; hmm, how'd that happen? Oh well, I'll get it sooner or later. By the way, weather is nice and toasty here (back in O.C.) - drove to work this morning with the top down. Again, I've said it before and I'll say it again... God I Love Southern California!

Welcome back. Glad you're home.

I heard about the incident with the kid and the alligator. Pretty sad.

Anyway, catch up on the thread. We're 10 pages long now, and a few more people joined us.

Right now, we're going out to eat. The kids are off from school, and its a beautiful day. See you later.
