I was just thinking the same thing about Tom. Bet we're going to see lots of smiles later tonight.

Jeff is a good guy to know. I hear it's good to do business with him. I'm glad he was able to get you your tire.

Monday...

10:25PM...

73 Degrees

Low humidity...

No wind...

Just a few puffy clouds in the sky...

oh

My

GOD!!!

This car is simply incredible!!! Words fail me, 'strooth!!!

Picked up the car from Honda of Joliet this afternoon, very pleasant buying experience, great people, and a great deal. 33 miles on the car as delivered. Left them at about 4:30 or so for home, about an hour away, with my wife following me. Got the rythmn of shifting back, and I cannot believe how light and effortless this car is. I've been short-shifting at about 5K, and it still winds up and moves out like nothing I've driven before. Going from my old RX-7 to this is like going from a VW to a Ferrari!!! To anyone that says this thing lacks torque I say

They must be raised on American V-8 muscle cars or something. This is the purest form of motoring, bar none. The car is like a fine swiss watch.

My wife and i went for a drive, came back and did the rounds with family to show the new car, and gave rides. The standing joke became they needed an "E" ticket to get on the ride.

Finally done with all that, she and I went out for another short spin... top down, nearly dark, absolute heaven!!! We're both totally gobsmacked!!! Total miles on the car now, right at 150.

We both wish I didn't have to work tomorrow, so we could spend tonight driving... there will be a lot of that coming, you can be sure!!!

No time for piccies tonight, I'll take some tomorrow and post, suffice to say I am totally in with this car!!!

Tom - You feel the same way I do every time I get in my baby, and it's been two years for me. Congrats!! Big lightning and thunderstorms last night - woke me up at 1 and 3 am. Headed for 85 today and sunny. Woohoo! Too bad I'll be at the office. Enjoy y'all. And hi Patty (Kyras)! You need to check out the Joke of the Day thread I've been posting to on S2000 Talk. Lots of good stuff out there that will make you laugh...we'll all need that!
