It was the first time I drove the car in the rain. I was driving home from work, the rain had stopped, but the road was damp, but no standing water. I took a 90deg turn in second gear. I was following a friend who was in an M3, but didn't enter the turn too fast (we were right behind an Accord). A hit the accelerater moderately (did not floor it), and the back end broke loose. I lifted, and it caught, but scared the sh!+ out of me. I didn't think I was anywhere close to going to fast, even in the damp. So for the virgin wet-road drivers, let this be a warning, the limit may be much closer than you think when the road is just slightly damp.
It would have been fun if it wasn't for the cars in the oncoming lanes just a few feet away.
