So, bottom line would be Blizzak WS-50's as the MZ-01's are discontinued (unless you can find someone with old stock) and the LM-22's are not quite as aggressive a snow tire. The Michelin Alpins are good but a lot more money.
If you can find them, the MZs are real good compromise between traction, longevity, price.
Guys, thanks for all the advice. I am sorry for flying off and when I reviewed my post I can see why there was criticism. Yeah, I'm a grand dad and just found out on Tuesday I'm going to be one again. Then, yesterday my expectant daughter had an automobile accident due to icy conditions and the anxiety was quite high. We found out that she was ok and there was no harm. So, my emotions have been a little high. Sorry.
I have used 4 different snow tires on my past cars.
WS-50's on my Z-28 felt like I was driving on jello, but had great deep snow and ice traction.
Pilot Alpine's on my SS Camaro great tire but kind of high priced
Arctic Alpine's on my Integra good tire but seemed to wear quickly
LM-22's only had them on my S for about 2 months now. Great dry road handling, and seem to have good snow traction.(not so great on ice)

I bought a beater-- and OH AM I GLAD!!! No regrets.
Running Q-Rated Michelin Arctic Alipins at all 4 wheels on a basic front wheel drive 88 Accord. I have NO issues with noise, wear, wet, or dry handling with these tires.
I had problems with all of the above with Q-Rated Blizzaks.
