somewhat similar to these older posts. I have a 2004 which I absolutely love but noticed lately a rattle that seems to emanate from the upper right rear (passenger side). (seems to be coming from the top or some of the support structure of the soft top)

it only happens when the top is in the UP position. I can't seem to locate what is loose or...whatever is causing the sound. it happens mostly, but not exclusively, on bumpier roads.

I'll go out on a limb and say it's the latch.
