Default Re-painting OEM bumper GPW

So my car came with some paint scuffs on the front bumper, i.e. some scratching on the underside due to parking and a few scuffs to the paint exposing the black beneath.

I want to get the bumper re-sprayed to get rid of these eye sores. How much should I expect to pay and would it have a negative effect on re-sale value, assuming full transparency at point of sale?

Thanks

Paint color = GPW

Get a few quotes. My best one was $250.

Depends where you are located. A regional forum would prob be a better place for this to get you the most accurate info and good recommendations on a shop

I was quoted $300 for a respray. Take pictures before to show to the future buyer. Shouldn't affect value much if you can show that it wasn't accident damage.

I just paid $250 for bumper and lip. This was berlina black though... whereas GPW will cost more, due to the pearl.

I had removed the front badge, plastic welded it, and sanded the whole bumper. This helped save some money.

Don't think GPW has pearl, there IS a pearl option in other countries and was a option for the Type S, but GPW looks nothing close to pearl.

I bought my car with a crack in it due to a parking block. When it came time to fix it I ended up getting a used bumper so the old one didn't have to be repaired. I paid $300 to prep (usual light scrapes)and paint a BB to GPW from a shop considered to be be more expensive around here. The finished work is great.

Do the research for your area and make sure you get someone you can trust will do it right, because there are a lot of places that don't.
