If the IC was ducted directly from the bottom of the car and they had a sealed vent thru the hood if would probaby work. It might even give a little down force if the front splitter was low enough.

Also having the IC closer to the middle of the car will help with the handling.

They need to raise VTEC engagement to help flatten out the torque curve. We raised mine to 6200 so my torque curve is now a whopping 200 lb/ft from 5500 RPM's on.
