I decided to change the rear diff fluid and the bottom drain plug and the filler plug are very large. I don't have a wrench that fits them and need to buy it. Does anyone know what size they are? I'm estimating the filler plug is about 23 mm.

Appreciate the help.

Don't know the sizes, but the Helm's manual says to torque them at 33 lb. If you do a search here, someone else posted the sizes I believe.

The fill plug is indeed 23mm. The drain plug is 24mm. Due to clearances between parts, you might need to use a wrench for the fill plug.

Prolene,

Thanks for the help. You're exactly right, I needed to buy a 23mm box wrench for the fill plug. I was able to torque the drain but not the fill.

By the way, I picked up a pump gismo at Kragen for filling diff's and transmissions. It worked really well. Cost was under $10.
