Default Differential drain plug specs?

anyone know the specs of the differential drain plug for the s2000? thread/size/ head size? im trying to see if Mfactory will make diff magnetic plugs for the s2000. yes, i know, the s2000 drain plug has a magnet already. mfactory and titek make some nice drain plugs with a strong magnet. looks like the size of the subaru drain plug (m20 x 1.50). i searched already without much luck. yes, j's racing makes one, i ordered for one a month ago, but no idea when a j's container will be heading to the US due to the economic crisis. could be 6 weeks, could be 6 months.

Will that style magnet (long, sticking out from the bolt) work in the diff? I can't say I remember what it looks like in there right now, but there might be serious clearance issues.

no, it will need a magnet level with the plug.

So why, then, do you feel this is necessary? Do you think a stronger magnet will make a significant difference?

If you have that much metallic matter to remove, you may have more important issues to resolve.

No, there had better not be ANY shavings in the fluid. There will be a fine grey/blk sluge and that is all. The torsen doesn't fail very frequently, but will get clearance issues eventually if the fluid is not changed. The factory magnet works great.
