Hey guys...

Please forgive me if this question as been asked before, I tried to run a search but it just didn't work for me.

I have a quick question, is it possible to replace the plastic rear window in a 2001 S2000 with a newer glass window? Or does this mean a complete replacment of the soft top?

that's not as bad as i thought, i just went ahead with an 02 so i wouldn't even have to worry about that crap plastic window. i've got a couple friends with 01's and it gets to the point where you can't even see out of it. even the 00's and 01's on the dealership lots look bad. such a hideous blemish on such a beautiful car. they should have designed the top from year 1 on the s2k to support the glass window instead of hearing 2 years of negative feedback before they made the upgrade.

 

So true man... well I'll do that upgrade next year.... mine is still pretty clear.

I have a MY 00,with a plastic window,wich is as nice and clear,as day #1.
Plus,it is bigger,and lighter than the glass window.
Use a Muz roof well mat on the inside,and static cling on the outside !!!
