rear toe setting change?
Has anybody reduced the rear toe setting from 6 mm to something more reasonable like 3 or 2 mm? Toe has a huge effect on tire wear and I'd like to get a little more mileage out of my rear tires. Has anybody lowered it and had problems? Instability on lift throttle? Weird turn-in response?
you should look at the alignment settings in the under the hood forum of this site.
if you are looking for greater tire wear, I know its been said before, but you aren't going to get it. its a sports car and you are running about the softest tires that you can get on a production vehicle with a treadwear rating of 140!
reducing the amount of toe-in (I run somewhere between 1/8th and 1/4th toe IN in the rear and 0 in the front), it will cuase less understeer, and changes the tires ability to reduce oversteer when the rear end lifts. that's the key in toe IN for the rear on this car.
that's my take.

So you haven't noticed any ill effects of reducing your rear toe down to 1/8" (3 mm)? I have an idea of what the toe change will do, but I'm asking if anybody has had problems with reduced rear toe.
This is a little off subject, but as far as treadwear rating, you cannot simply compare one number to another. It gives you an idea, but it's not the whole story. For example, my current Prelude has the OE BS Potenza RE92's with a treadwear rating of 160. They have 38K miles on them are still going strong (about half worn). I had a previous 'lude and put aftermarket MI Pilot Sports on it with a treadwear rating of 220. Those were showing the wear bars after 27K miles with the same style driving. So I don't think you can get a great idea of wear from just that number.
