The thing you DON'T want to do is lift too hard or fast from the throttle. You will get that nasty trailing trottle oversteer, which is not a good thing - especially on the street!
What you want to do is stay in the gas, actually, to load the rear and countersteer to bring the rear back in line. I'm not suggesting that you floor it, but lifting from the trottle is going to unload the rear and you'll go flying around in a bad way. Whatever you do, whether it be a very very slight throttle lift or staying in the gas (my favorite), DO NOT LIFT QUICKLY OR BRAKE! You'll be looking at headlights real quick!
It may take some getting used to to stay on the gas, but I love to toss it around like this...especially when near the school for the blind's crossing zone at lunchtime, when all the kids in wheelchairs are going to eat. Or near the veteran's hospital...that's always fun, too...

I thought the rule was fast in faster out!
Definately stay on the gas. Only back off just enough to allow the tires to grip. Gotta keep the load to the rear.
Oh man that sounds goooood. My bad.
