Rear Wheel/Tire Hop...solution?
Lately, I'm noticing much more rear wheel hop during hard acceleration. It feels pretty violent at times and I just don't want to abuse my drivetrain that much. I've searched the boards and answers are sort of all over the place... I'm trying to figure which of the following reasons it could be from.
* Koni shocks not set to firm enough? it's set at 1 turn less than full firm or about 60% stiff. At the track it's at full firm and I don't notice any hop at all. Then again the track is generally smoother. BTW, i'm running stock MY03 springs.
* Tires are worn? I have only about 1/8" left on the inner tread. They're due for replacement.
* Air pressure too high/low? i'm running at 36psi for street
* Some other reason my small brain isn't thinking of?
Help!

Check your alignment as well. I use to have wheel hop but was gone when I had my mechanic align it.
