Right Rear Wheel/Tire not aligned in center of wheel well
Whatsup guys...
I dont' have a picture... but here's the story:
I recently got my CV Boot replaced, at the dealership, in my rear right wheel. I wanted to lower my car so I took a good look at my wheels and the spacing around them. When I looked at my rear wheel, it was off-centered. Like one inch too far to the right, towards the front of the car.
I wanted to ask if anyone knows what might be the problem or what the dealership might have altered.
I am going back to the dealership this Friday, but wanted to see if someone could point me in the right direction.
Thanks.

It ain't right! Something was not bolted back correctly when the CV was replaced or an attachpoint or A-arm is bent from hitting something. There are factory chassis point measurements that will tell what is off. An eighth of an inch could be explained by tolerances or an alignment problem but an inch is not acceptable. If the alignment cams are so far off as to push the wheel forward an inch your wheel would be visibly toed-in.
It is the rear right SUB-STRUCTURE DAMAGE. Not sure what exactly that is, but I will be posting up some pictures once I get my hands on them.
It will be replaced by dealership courtesy of my insurance company.
I guess the adjuster must have missed it when i damaged my car in a little spin-out hitting the road side rail.
