Default recall clearance letter

Hi:

I am in the process of purchasing an S 2000 in the US and importing it into Canada. However, I am getting the run around from Honda concerning a recall clearance letter. This is not the first car I have imported but this is the first time I have had a problem with the letter. Does anyone have any suggestions or thoughts on getting this letter?

Don

maybe go to Honda's web page and contact them as a first try?

Maybe a dealer, but even if they do that, it'll cost $$.

Let me save you some pain my friend.... YOU DONT NEED IT! I brought my S in without the recall letter. Just call to RIV and ask them to confirm that you won't need it.

According to my last phone call to RIV , I was told they have so much data and internet info. that the RIV is now doing the check internally to speed up the process. They know HONDA is not making getting a copy of this letter easy yet its easily available on the web if you really needed it.

GOOD LUCK !

Its an easy process so just enjoy the experience ... I DID
