Recalls and TSB's in Canada
How come the states get all these recalls and technical service bulletins while Canada doesn't get any (or at least I dont receive them). Everytime I have a problem Honda Canada tells me the American S and the Canadian S are different and everything is normal. I'm gonna go nuts if no one listens to me or helps me out soon.
The only TSB I recieved was the seatbelt..Which I haven't done.
I too have heard that they are different...They're not!!! Usually the US has a different TSB # as opposed to the Canadian one. But think about it, the cars all come from the same place!
If there is something that needs to be done, you WILL here about it, if its just a TSB liek the 1-2 grind, unless you complain, you will never recieve anything about it.
If you have issues with your car, talk to the service manager, if they aren't willing to help. and feed you lines like this..find another dealer. I went thru only one dealer before I found a good one..I was lucky..
Good luck!

There were only two recalls on the car, and they applied to MY2000. One was for the seatbelts and the other was for the convertible top cover (this applied to only early MY2000).
As for the TSBs, they are not sent out to owners. If you're having problems and a TSB can help, the I'm sure if you print out the US TSB, the Canadian dealers should accept it.
