wow, you definitely hold that record

took me a few days maybe? I didn't get a manual out of it either, just a card with my radio code... nothing cool

gas release, a couple minutes once I was at the gas station. I reached down like I would in my prelude, and then laughed, got out and checked all around the door frame

Haha for some reason I still think gas release latch is in same spot as a prelude damn. My prelude is my DD ride now.

I knew about the secret compartment long before getting my car (have been an S2k fan since its debut). What I didn't know about was the other secret compartment! The one that isn't spoken of on this board. The previous owner of my car said it didn't come with an owner's manual. But I found it, in the other secret compartment. Where is it you ask? It's the pocket in the back of the seat. I certainly didn't figure a car with zero room behind the seats would have pockets there.

What I found in my regular secret compartment was just a tire receipt and some unused adhesive velcro.

Since you ask it that way, you must not know.

The middle compartment between the seats opens down - you need to open it to get at the other compartment. There is a compartment under the plastic windscreen just above that main compartment.

Feel under the lip and there's a button to release it. The top flips back with the windscreen and voila - THE SECRET COMPARTMENT.

It took me a few months before I broke and begged another owner to show me where it was...
