A little fume won't hurt. Just step out of the garage and into your house while your car warms up. You just really need to warm it up for two minutes. If you're still worried about the exhaust fume, just tell your neighbors to f' off.

Yea just close your garage door start it then open it a little even if you dont, running your car for a few minutes isnt going to kill you. And 730... they should be awake already, i have be at work at 6... But im also military and im a big guy (powerlifter plus martial arts)... people are too afraid of me to say shit. If they did id just say piss off, one time i parked in a spot (no specific parking)and some guy was like hey thats my spot, well when i gotta outta my car and he saw how big i was and my military uniform he shut up and went inside Ha i was like little bitch!

Why piss off your neighbors? It's always good to have neighbors watching your stuff in case someone decides to break into your car or house. A pissed off neighbor would probably just say tough and let the thief take your car. I know I would. karma baby.

Is this an apt complex, or you have your own house? 20ft sounds like probably your own house. Apologize for the noise, then tell them that there's nothing you can do

How long do you warm up your engine for? I usually only let it warm up for about 30 seconds during summer, 45-60 seconds during winter and drove off. The key is not to floor the gas pedal once you take off because the engine hasn't completely warm up yet. I take it really easy until I get at least 4 bars on the temperature gauge.

New car warm up very fast so you don't need to let it sit for 5 minutes before driving just my opinion. Especially if you park it inside a garage. Try replacing the thermostat if your car take a long time to warm up at idle. Of course, if you park your car outside and the average temp is 40 or below then that a different story.

I start my car in the garage and my neighbor (older lady) has said something about the noise, I just apoligized and she left it at that (her bedroom wall is on the otherside of my garage wall). She's lucky I dont have the Invidia still...LOL. Its an ASM 70mm so its not all that loud (my wife says it shakes the house upstairs when I start it though...LOL )

Just gives you an excuse to exercise your middle finger early in the morning.

They can suck it up and deal.
