Your car already has one. What you're seeing there is actually the "front bumper." Take off your front bumper cover and you'll see it.

I have mine removed. It weighs 10 pounds.

 

why did you remove it? its there for safety issue

 

It's not really there *for* a safety issue...it's to prevent a safety issue

And maybe he had some front end damage, needs to replace it, and doesn't want to pay dealer prices if a replacement can be had cheaper.
