Hey, he's getting divorced, cut off. Maybe he needs the NSX to pick up chicks and avoid too long a dry spell! (j/k, my smart-ass remark of the day)

Seeing as everyone is very heated right now over this issue.

Lets remember one thing, posting about how he should or shouldn't handle the situation isn't going to make any difference to the outcome of the problem. It might take things further to forum and build some bad blood between others.

Its a very stupid issue so don't get pissed off at others just because they have an opinion differing from yours. Blanket statement not aimed at any one individual. In case I get flamed

Seeing as MG Racing probably paid for advertising for a certain term, it might be legally difficult for S2KI to drop the ads immediately, unless a prorated refund is given. Perhaps what should be done is not renew the contract unless some resolution is made.

If a refund is sent, such money should be turned over in good faith to spyderfish by Tim, imo.

My point of view (and it's just that, MINE, so don't flame me for having a brain, k?):

Spyder bought a turbo, returned it for unspecified reason, it was refurbished (assuming it awas even removed from the packaging) and resold at a $500 discount of what Spyder paid. It is in my objective opinion that Tim should have paid right there and then. Instead, I am reading (this is off the thread here, btw) that Tim writes three cold checks, has not refunded the money owed legally to Spyder, and is buying an NSX.

SPike nailed it. In this world of money and business, honesty, morals and ethics drive the economy. I am deeply saddened to see that a sponsor of such a wonderful site as S2KI.com would bring such a shame upon itself by being unethical towards a repayment owed over a year ago.

I now join with the others *against* MG Racing in saying: Tim, own up, shut up and pay the man his money.

PS: Because I am a college student, I can understand just how much $3500 US dollars is. To me, $3500 is as good as $1,000,000. So I can understand the frustration and anger being shown by everyone involved.

PPS: I also hereby move that MG Racing's sponsorship is immediately refunded, revoked or that if there is a contract, that it be placed under legal suspension or not renewed at time of expiry

In California, writing checks that you know will not be honored is a crime. ie. arrest, handcuffs, jail time.
This whole thing is an outrage.
Pay the man. (with a money order)
