Jason Saini,

What wattage is the heat gun and about how long to get to the right temperature. I would like to do this so any other tips would be greatly appreciated. Also was the paint scuffed by removing the tape or can the paint be already damaged under the tape.

Thanks,
William

William-

My heat gun is a Milwaukee Tools (pretty industrial strength) I'm not sure the wattage. It's in my trunk- and I'm too lazy to go check it out. I think a hair dryer would work just fine, we had the heat gun on the lowest setting and it was still too hot.

The tape heated up almost instantly. As I mentioned be careful not to get it too hot, it just snaps right off then. Ands that paint was scuffed at manufacture, nothing we did caused any damage.

Hope this helps!
Juliann

No jack stands.... and you were able to get the tape off??? Wow- you must be good!

The Photopoint thing I've done about twice and I don't remeber exactely what I did!

Jason-
Can you help William out here- cuz it's always a Zen thing for me (i.e prolly couldn't explain it coherantly) when I post from Photopoint!

I can't agree with you more.
