Default Removing front license plate holder

Can someone tell me how to remove the front license plate holder? It's way too big for our plates so it's taking up a whole lot of unused space and I do not like that big plastic thing being there. Thx!

On the EU cars you need to remove the bumper to get at two bolts that are secured from inside the bumper.

You can just see the captive nut top left of this pick.

You could dremel the plate holder off the nut and leave the nut in place, you get this.

Then put a plate on like this

On my current car I had the holder removed by the dealer and filled the holes with a couple of painted center console clips

Thx a lot Mikey k, I tried to get the plate holder off but it didn't want to let go and I didn't want to damage anything. I never thought I would have to remove the front bumper I will have it done at the dealership next time I think and get some bugshield in the fresh air opening of the bumper so that no bugs and no stones can hit the radiator... Nice car you've got, nice wheels too!
