Can I use rubbing alcohol to remove glue from the vinyl interior? will it harm or discolor the vinyl?

I'm trying to remove some double-stick tape from the dash and am not sure how to remove the glue. Should I use goo-gone or something like it instead?

thanks

You might want to try lighter fluid using all appropriate precautions against open flames and other ignition sources.

Pretty sure. I'd try it if I needed to remove glue, and would be surprised and disappointed if it did damage the vinyl.

loop,
Try the citrus stuffs like googone -- they really work wonders on adhesive residues and won't harm the material b/c they are "natural".

I've used rubbing alchohol twice with no ill effects. You should be fine with this.

My nosy daughter is looking at this as I type.
