Default interior plastic

I'm in the middle of a full detail of my interior. I'm at the point of the black plastic pieces in the interior. Like the kick panels, the parts below the roll hoops, etc. There are a couple of pieces that have some scuff marks on them. Are there any recommendations of products that will get the scuff marks out? I've tried vinylex and some qd, but the scuffs remain.

Any thoughts? They aren't scratches. It almost looks like when you kick a shoe along it or something.

vinylex should get it...
rub really hard with a good mf soaked in it. brushes sometimes help.

if not, try an apc first (some guys even use woolite)- same thing- soak the rag and rub hard. finish up with a damp cloth (water), dry it, then finally use your vinylex.

wondering if 1z cockpit/ interior stuff might be a good product for this-

phil- are you out there? any comment on this?

wanabe, just got home and saw this link,

I have two solutions or a two step solution...

Einszett:
for the tough spots this would work great
Einszett Plastic and Vinyl Cleaner (I'm about 99% sure it will do the job)

Cockpit would be good for maintaining the interior

Sweet! Thanks for the resonces.

I pretty much took out the whole interior. I'm still working on cleaning the seats. I took out the carpet and am shampooing it now. I'll have a whole write up when it's all completed.

I'll have to pick up those products and give them a shot.

I use a mix of Woolite and water diluted to 10:1 and it's one of the best interior cleaners I've ever used

Einszett Cockpit Premium is now one of my all time favorite detailing products. I'd suggest that. But if the plastic is actually banged up somehow, you may be stuck with just replacing it. And it's not cheap - those door sill things with the S2000 badges on them cost like 100 bucks each!
