Default Repair shop's big mistake!

Whew!

Had my AP1 60K service a couple of days ago at a Honda specialized repair shop I use to trust.

Mechanic took off tires to check brakes, but then put the tires on backwards Yes, 245s in front and 205s in rear. I was on the freeway for over a hundred miles and car kept pulling all over the place Checked when I got home to discover the reason I couldn't drive in a straight line.

Got the tires remounted this morning at Les Schwab and they told me that rear wheels are designed not to fit on front, and that the lug nuts were doing all the weight bearing instead of the hub. If this is true then I think my wheels could have broken off doing 75 on the freeway

Today I'm counting my blessings. Tomorrow I'm returning to the shop to get a personal apology.

Drive safely

Glad you were safe and accident free. I suppose Honda specialization doesn't include the S!!!

Wow, I'm really surprised they didn't notice that the rear wheels won't sit on the front hubs when they put it on backwards.

This is the reason I don't trust ANYONE with my car. That's a pretty big mistake.

Make him say sorry to you and look at your car right in those HIDS and say sorry too hahah dont forget to turn those lights on too

I'd be looking for a refund for any cost related to that "check-up" and they should be feeling extra happy that nothing happened, leaving them financial responsible.
