How do you make a mistake like that? Stevie Wonder does brake jobs now?

What shop was it?
Shop is Valley Specialists here in Salem Oregon. They only work on Hondas and Acuras. I've had them do maintenance before and was very happy with their work. Think they may have gotten a new tech guy who isn't familiar with the S. He said he had a difficult time replacing the differential fluid which seemed odd.

I'm returning to the shop this afternoon and have them review all the work they did on maintenence. If they admit their mistake(s) and are serioulsy sorry for the screw-up I'll probably return. If they try and deny then I'll make sure to write a bad review on this and other forums.

I'd also be worried about the studs being compromised after bearing the entire weight of the car for that long.

The ineptitude of many "mechanics" continues to amaze me.

you should have known as soon as you drove off the lot if the wheels were put on incorrectly.. Also, aren't the hub bores different sizes, thus the front wont fit on the rear or vice versa..??

and like others have said, no shop touches my car unless i'm there to watch them..

I know a guy who drove all the way down from Cleveland, Ohio past Knoxville, TN to the Dragon and was driving around there with his front and rear wheels reversed. I seem to recall it was only on one side too.

They assumed it was FWD and you wanted the bigger tires on the drive wheels.

Wow, I can't believe it, that's the same shop that changed my clutch a month ago. They came highly recommended from 2 friends that have taken their Hondas there for years. That clutch change was the first time I trusted a shop with the S. Fortunately everything went fine, but I definitely got the sense that they hadn't seen many S2000s come in. Glad you're ok, I didn't even think you get the rear tires to even fit up front, but I can see how that mistake can be made when you work on 500 fwd Hondas with all the same 4 tires, for every rwd one with two different pairs.

wow, that's scary, glad to hear nothing serious happened though. I hope they apologize at the very least.
