Unhappy Replacement Exhaust and brakes...

Last Thursday I took my new S into the honda dealer for an inspection and to install a new clutch... On the inspections they said that I will need a new exhaust and brakes because of rust (the first owner lived in NY and the salt kinda messed things up ). But any suggestions on which to get? I am aiming for the most performance for the least price... My parents want to pay for stock but they said if I can find some good parts around stock price then that will do...

Thanks, Kill

I have 1 Right front caliper, Not sure if they are interchangable or not (left to right) I also have to look around as I may have a set of rears too. If i can find them I know they need new lines but you could always use the old lines too. Either way. then you would only need 1 more front caliper to finish that off. I can also throw you a stock exhaust. Let me know. Also let me know where you live so i can figure out shipping unless you are local

Make sure the dealership is not looking for a sucker. Might be worth taking a look at the stuff yourself or having someone you trust take a look.

Your exhaust shouldn't need to be replaced unless it's actually rusted through and has leaks. It could be that the dealer is just speculating that it'll need to be replaced in the near future.

If you really need to replace the exhaust and the brakes, and can only do one how is this even a question?

No brakes == guaranteed crash.

great excuse for some mods!!

spugen dual oval exhaust - adds a few hps, but the main advantage is the great sound!!
brakes are drilled & slotted cad plated... with stock pads (to minimize dust):

(double click the pic a few times to get it to blow up so that you can see the brakes and exhaust)

K thanks... I was going to use this as a nice excuse to get some mods from the parents! But as for exhaust Im looking for the most power and best sound for the dollar. As for brakes, well looking for some nice and cool calipers with good reliablity
