Default Replacing the center armrest...

Well, since my top got slashed (almost 5 weeks ago!!!) it's been dumping rain here on a regular basis. I've managed to keep it out of the rain until today, when I got stuck at work and couldn't get it covered in time. The center armrest (leather?) got soaked and it is all poofy now and one of the corners is lifted up. How difficult is it to replace this? And where would be my best place to get one (part number??) ?

Thanks, everyone...

My new top goes in tomorrow, hopefully... FINALLY.

Read this http://www.ricks2k.com/info/instructions/shiftboot.pdf

The center console "snaps" off. The link will show this step as part of the Shift Boot installation.

what did you say to the dealer to get it replaced under warranty? Wouldn't they say NO because it wasn't the cars fault that water fell on the center console?

Had mine replaced under warranty as well. Mine was just coming up on one corner. No water damage here.

the rule is to complain of a problem and not offer any additional info...put the burden of proof on the dealer to prove how it is your fault and not a warranty issue...i went in with a complaint that the armrest was not properly affixed anymore and would like it fixed...never offered how it may have happened nor was i asked...he just looked at it and said it was broke so one would be ordered...that was colorado springs...not as impressed with the one here in huntsville...anyone else visit Jerry Damson Honda in huntsville alabama??

I had mine replaced under warranty because the paint-like silver material was cracking off. The only thing they came up with was my hand was rubbing on it (which it may have been), but I said I shift with my hand above the knob and not below to the side so they just said ok and replaced it.
