Default Replacing interior carpet?

Although there are many who prefer to cover as much of the interior carpet as possible (i.e., console covers and full floor mats), I happen to like the original factory look of my MY2000. What I am completely unhappy with is the quality of the factory carpet. No pile. A 'cheap' nylon feel.

Has anybody redone the interior carpet with an upgrade? If yes, can you post some pics and costs?

Thanks in advance.

Michael

I know a couple of people (Rick?) have replaced the red carpet with factory black carpet. It seems an interior shop could custom carpet the car for a semi-reasonable price, or if you had the template of the old carpet you might be able to get a manufacturer to make turn-key versions if you could get enough commitment on quantity.
