Or................ You could buy some 15cm wide matt black adhesive tape and tape over the crack on both sides. Keep your original hood until it wears out in the classic places or gets a knife through it. All that will happen is your car will look as though it has a glass back window until you look closely. I'd rather have an Invidia full system or a complete set of sticky brand new tyres!

Soft top motor install....

Followed this tutorial. It is amazing help. The new soft top frame and cloth is now on my car. When do I install the motors and is there an alignment I have to do between the teeths?

Also, any tips on installing those two clips on the front of each side of the rubber rain rail? Besides tape

The OP cut off for anyone else? The install seems to stop mid sentence in the last post..?
