Thanks everyone for PMing me on the issue with this thread :-)

I'll try and make a PDF this weekend as was suggested and repost in the first thread so the complete install is back.

Great write up. I plan on replacing my ripped top this Sunday with the help of another member on the site. Neither of us have done this before so having the full write-up would be a huge help.

I just bought a Glass window Sierra Top for my 2000 from Auto Tops Direct. Great top but very poor installation instructions. Would anyone have a PDF copy of their EZon or Robbins instructions the could post or email me. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Glad we got the missing info back! I'll be doing this over the weekend. Any advice for adjusting the fabric? I see there are a few photos of some owners post-install with fabric sagging a bit in an area or two. What causes this and how can I avoid it? I purchased the stayfast ezon top, and anxious to get this done, but want it to look good

I'm not sure if you got around to this...

But I gave it a try for you ---

thanks for linking it in the first post
I hope it prints for everyone
I printed at 2 pages per printed page and it's totally legible (and doesn't use 48 pieces of paper!)

and thanks for the documentation

So I finished my install today...

a couple of notes:
  • I used 5/36 rivets (x 1/4") for everything. (instead of the binding pins Cyclon36 used and the oversize rivets that came with the kit)
  • I eventually turned my stereo on a station that I didn't like -- I kept forgetting to turn the key off every time I moved the roof and killed my battery (twice!)
  • I took my time putting all the trim back in and did a deep clean of areas that I won't see again (until the harddog goes in ).

Rollins top looks absolutely top notch.. a friend that had no idea I had put a new top on said "what did you change on your car.... looks amazing"

thanks again for the write up - VERY helpful.
