Prolene,
sift through the pics at the link in my sig. My car has the Silver on Black all around (on a black s2000).
There are some good shots of my car with the badges....it's a bit more understated....but classy!

I'm going to hold off judging Rick's badges until I see them in the flesh. I hate catelog / picture shopping.
In spite of all the racing accomplishments in F1 and CART, and all the engine developments and break-threws in production cars, the name Honda doesn't conjure up mental images of sophisticated sports cars. We, on this board, all know better. As do those who read motor magazines regularly. Somehow, I don't think changing the badges will do anything to improve that. But I don't care. We few, we band of brothers, know what we have and most of us do appreciate it for what it is - one kick ass car!
There's a part of me that wishes the Honda name did carry the image of a Porsche or Ferrari but it never will. You can't make econo boxes, small buzzy bikes, leaf blowers, and sports cars too -- without a trade off. That said, I'm very proud of Honda, especially for having the courage to produce the S2000. And, speaking of the S2000, there's a part of me that wishes is had a more catchy name (i.e., Testa Rossa, Elan, etc.) but I respect their history too.
If I want to impress anyone with the 'ole "H", I only need a few minutes of their time and a few hundred feet of pavement.

Or polishing that watch
Thanks for the explanation Le Car. It's good to know where you are coming from. Personally I think the road analogy misses the mark in the current design.
Reedz - I said I didn't like them too. Can I have a free set

i have the same reason why i'm not getting badges...
i have to admit, that they look so much nicer on our cars,
and so much better quality than stock honda badges.
i'm proud that my s2000 is honda, though.
it's "the" s2000 that i'm driving, you know?
