hehe.
Yep, got a little excited! I was reading the "Road Test Limited Edition - Honda S500 - S600 - S800" from MotorBooks, and the early cars were listed using everything from S500, S-500, S.500, to whatever by these early reviewers. This is a great compilation of reviews about the first S cars from Honda. It includes reviews from 1962 to 1993 magazines such as Autocar (1962), Motor Trend (1963), Road & Track (1965), Motoring Life (1966), just as a few examples. Recommended reading. It is interesting to note that many of the same comments made about the S2000 were made by many journalist concerning the early s cars from Honda.

The people that know what an S2000 is, know exactly that our car is not an ordinary Honda. I don't see why someone would be ashamed of a car that is directly derived from Honda racing technology.
Right now, if you look in the industry, you will notice that all the manufacturers that produce luxury cars (Porsche, Lexus, Jaguar, BMW, Mercedes...) are all introducing an affordable model or entry-level car. On the opposite, a company like VW are preparing themselves to compete in the big league by offering a very luxurious V8 Passat or a more affordable Bentley....

I doubt le car would find anything American easy to like.

Less is more. Which logo could you stitch in one color, small (30mm), on a jacket, without it looking unprecise and cheap?
Yes, "Less is more"... "Form follows function"... etc... Clich

Each to their own! I put the S badges on and they look great! Why did I do it? Not because I'm embarrassed that the S2000 is a Honda! I did it because I like the sleek look of the badges and the H badges were a pain to wax around. BTW I also removed the side S2000 badges. Yes, waxing around them was also a pain and I like the sleek look of the car without them.

I still have the badges. If I rethink my position in the future I'll put them back on.

I looked at the black chrome badges and thought they were to thick.

Each to their own!

You would have to remove Rick's beautiful, tasteful, stylish, 3-D badges from my cold dead fingers. I would not give up the improvement in looks, not to mention mystery, over the plane Jane Honda badges, for almost anything.
