Default Reusing Rick's badges - what type of glue should I use?

I had a set of Rick's badges on the car that had to be removed. I am wondering what type of glue (if any) I should use to reapply these. My main concern is that the paint underneath the badge is not altered by the glue. If anyonr has some input for me I would really appreciate it.

Thanks,
Asura

I actually have finger prints and dust all over the back of them. I thought of reapplying them as is, but I don't think they will last.

You should email Rick and ask him. Off hand, I can think of no "glue" that will do the job properly. My only thought is to get some automotive trim double sided tape. Of course, this will add thickness under the badges.

Hopefully you will share Ricks answer if you email him. My badges are peeling up a bit ( only because I did a shitty job installing them) and I would love to fix them.

What needs to be done is to clean off the back and the car with 3M adhesive remover because then the badge is clean and the stock Honda badge leaves no marks of double sided tape. Then wash all the adhesive remover off the badge and the car. If you want the emblem to stick real tight then 3M also offers a liquid cleaner that makes the tape adhear to it tighter. Either way, you proceed to use 3M double sided tape on the back of the emblem then just apply. If your badge came off then there are only two reasons that I could see. One is that some of the 3M tape on the stock Honda badge was not all scraped off before putting on the new emblem or that the surface was dirty. Oh one more is if you touched the 3M double sided tape too much and left it with grimmy prints and stuff. Hope this helps.
